Fender Player II Modified Telecaster SH Maple Fingerboard (Sunshine Yellow)

The Player II Modified Telecaster® SH represents Fender®'s commitment to pushing the boundaries of their legendary design whilst honouring its timeless appeal. This versatile instrument combines classic Fender heritage with carefully considered modern upgrades that enhance both playability and tonal versatility. The Modern "C"–profile neck features a smooth satin urethane finish, paired with either a 9.5"–radius slab rosewood or one–piece maple fingerboard that includes rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets for exceptional comfort during extended playing sessions.

At the heart of this guitar's sonic character lies a sophisticated pickup configuration designed for maximum flexibility. The Player II Modified humbucker in the neck position provides articulate tones with substantial output, whilst the Player II Noiseless™ Tele® bridge pickup maintains that classic twang and bite without unwanted noise interference. A push/pull switch on the tone control splits the neck humbucker, unlocking authentic single–coil tones that expand your sonic palette considerably.

Built for reliability and performance, the six–saddle string–through–body Tele® bridge incorporates block brass saddles that enhance sustain and improve intonation accuracy. The alder body construction provides that signature Fender punch and comes available in an array of fresh finishes. Short post locking tuners work alongside a TUSQ® nut and modern string tree to ensure rock–solid tuning stability, making this instrument ideal for expressive bends and dynamic lead work.
