Fender Player II Modified Stratocaster HSS Maple Fingerboard (3-Color Sunburst)

The Player II Modified Stratocaster® HSS represents Fender®'s commitment to pushing the boundaries of their legendary design whilst honouring its timeless appeal. This versatile instrument combines classic Fender heritage with carefully considered modern upgrades that enhance both playability and tonal versatility. The alder body provides that signature Fender punch across a range of striking new finishes, making it as visually appealing as it is sonically impressive.

At the heart of this guitar’s playability is the Modern “C”–profile neck with its smooth satin urethane finish, paired with either a 9.5”–radius slab rosewood or one–piece maple fingerboard. The rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets create an effortless playing surface that accommodates everything from intricate lead work to powerful rhythm playing.

The pickup configuration sets this instrument apart with its Player II Modified humbucker in the bridge position offering articulate tones and substantial output, whilst the Player II Noiseless™ Strat® pickups maintain that classic chime and sparkle without unwanted noise. The push/pull switch on the second tone control splits the bridge humbucker, unlocking traditional Strat® single–coil tones for remarkable tonal flexibility.

Built for precision and stability, the 2–point synchronised tremolo features block steel saddles and a chamfered tremolo block that allows for wider travel and more expressive vibrato techniques. Short post locking tuners, a TUSQ® nut, and modern string tree work together to ensure exceptional tuning stability, making this guitar a reliable choice for both studio and stage applications.
