The Player II Modified Active Precision Bass® represents Fender®'s commitment to pushing the boundaries of their legendary bass design whilst honouring its classic heritage. This versatile instrument combines traditional Fender punch with modern enhancements, featuring an alder body available in fresh new finishes and a Modern "C"–profile neck with satin urethane finish for smooth playability.

At the heart of this bass lies a sophisticated pickup configuration that sets it apart from standard models. The Player II Modified Precision Bass® middle pickup provides powerful, defined low–end response, whilst the Player II Noiseless™ Jazz Bass® bridge pickup adds growl and articulation without unwanted noise. An innovative active preamp system includes an active/passive mini toggle switch and refined EQ section with treble, midrange, and bass controls, giving players complete tonal flexibility.

Built for professional performance, the instrument features a 9.5"–radius slab rosewood or one–piece maple fingerboard with rolled edges and 20 medium jumbo frets for effortless playability. The Fender HiMass™ bridge with chrome–plated zinc saddles enhances resonance and tuning accuracy, whilst tapered–shaft open–gear tuners, TUSQ® nut, and vintage–style disc string tree ensure rock–solid tuning stability during demanding performances.
