The Player II Modified Active Precision Bass® represents a bold step forward for the legendary Fender instrument, combining classic heritage with cutting–edge modern features. This versatile bass guitar maintains its iconic Fender DNA whilst incorporating thoughtful upgrades that enhance both playability and tonal control. The Modern "C"–profile neck features a smooth satin urethane finish, paired with a 9.5"–radius fingerboard available in either slab maple or rosewood, complete with rolled edges and 20 medium jumbo frets for superior comfort.

At the heart of this instrument lies a powerful pickup configuration featuring the Player II Modified Precision Bass® middle pickup for that signature punchy low–end, complemented by the Player II Noiseless™ Jazz Bass® bridge pickup that adds growl and articulation without unwanted noise. The all–new active preamp system includes an active/passive mini toggle switch and refined EQ section with dedicated treble, midrange, and bass controls, giving players comprehensive tonal shaping capabilities.

Built for reliability and performance, the bass features a Fender HiMass™ bridge with chrome–plated zinc saddles that enhance resonance and tuning accuracy. Additional hardware includes tapered–shaft open–gear tuners, a TUSQ® nut, and vintage–style disc string tree, all working together to maintain rock–solid tuning stability during demanding performances. The alder body construction provides that distinctive Fender punch and comes available in a range of striking new finishes.
