Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV Black Guitar Amplifier

The Hot Rod Deluxe IV delivers legendary Fender tone with modern refinements that serious guitarists demand. This supercharged 40-watt combo amplifier builds upon decades of proven performance, featuring modified preamp circuitry that enhances overdriven note definition and a redesigned spring reverb system for smoother, more musical ambience. With Normal, Drive, and More Drive channels, players can access everything from pristine cleans to scorching overdrive tones.

At the heart of this amplifier sits a premium 12" Celestion® A-Type speaker, engineered to provide well-balanced output across the frequency spectrum. The speaker delivers smooth highs, controlled midrange response, and full, round low-end reproduction that complements the amp's versatile tonal palette. The modified preamp ensures articulate sound reproduction even when pushed to its limits, making it an excellent choice for both studio recording and live performance.

Fender has updated the aesthetics with a lightweight pine cabinet construction, enhanced control panel graphics, and distinctive ivory pointer knobs. The steel-reinforced strap handle and lightly-aged silver grille cloth complete the classic Fender appearance. This reliable, pedal-friendly amplifier includes a 2-button footswitch and protective cover, making it a comprehensive solution for electric guitarists seeking professional-grade tone and versatility.
