Fender's Made in Japan Limited Hybrid II Telecaster® pursues a contemporary take on an iconic platform, balancing vintage aesthetics with modern playability. Built on the Hybrid II series philosophy, this sandblasted ash–body model reconciles period–correct appointments–slanted brass saddles, locking tuners, bone nut–with contemporary neck geometry and hardware. A satin polyester finish reveals the tonewood's grain character whilst the rosewood fingerboard anchors a comfortable playing experience.
The guitar houses a pair of Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil Telecaster® pickups wired to a 4–position blade selector offering bridge, neck, parallel and series configurations. Construction centres on a maple neck with modern “C” profile, 9.5” fingerboard radius, 22 medium jumbo frets and 25.5” scale length. Vintage–style locking tuners and a satin–finished neck joint ensure stable tuning, whilst the 1.650” bone nut and nickel–plated steel strings (.009–.042 gauges) deliver consistent intonation. Master volume and tone controls provide straightforward signal shaping.
Production remains intentionally limited, reinforcing collectibility and exclusivity within the Hybrid II lineup. The package includes a deluxe gig bag, providing portable protection for gigging musicians or studio–based players seeking a refined Tele® voice without compromising contemporary ergonomics.
