Custom designed and ordered, this 1 of 1 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt 1960 Telecaster Relic has been crafted by Greg Fessler, one of the Fender Custom Shop’s most respected Master Builders.

Built around a 2-piece ash body finished in a lacquer Faded/Aged Vintage Blonde relic treatment, this instrument captures the look and feel of a well-played early-’60s Telecaster. The ageing work follows detailed Fender reference images for authentic wear patterns, complemented by chrome/nickel relic hardware and a vintage-correct 58–63 Tele bridge.

The quartersawn maple neck is paired with an AAA rosewood fingerboard and shaped to a comfortable 60s Style Oval “C” profile. A 7.25"–9.5" compound radius blends traditional feel with improved modern playability, while 21 Medium Vintage frets, a bone nut and vintage clay dot inlays complete the classic Fender experience.

Electronics feature Josefina hand-wound Custom Shop pickups, pairing a Twisted Tele neck with an OBG bridge for articulate cleans, lively midrange and unmistakable Telecaster bite. Traditional Tele controls keep things simple and responsive, making this Masterbuilt instrument equally at home in the studio, on stage, or as the centrepiece of a serious collection.
