The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1963 Telecaster Relic is a classic Tele done the right way, capturing early–’60s character with the feel of a well–played instrument. Its alder body is finished in a lightly aged Sonic Blue nitrocellulose lacquer, allowing the guitar to resonate freely while offering a naturally broken–in look and feel. The thin nitro finish will continue to wear gracefully over time, adding even more personality with use.
The rift–sawn maple neck features a comfortable 60s–style Oval “C” profile, a 9.5” radius, and narrow–tall 6105 frets, striking a great balance between vintage vibe and modern playability. Hand–wound Custom Shop pickups bring the sound to life, with a Twisted Tele in the neck for clarity and warmth, and an Original Blackguard in the bridge delivering classic Tele snap and bite. It’s a responsive, expressive guitar built to be played—not just admired.
