These authentic reproductions feature the unmistakable tone characteristics that made Blackguard Teles famous ‐ punchy lows, fat mids and crisp, twangy highs that cut through any mix.

Built to original specifications, the bridge pickup utilises flush‐mount, large‐diameter unbeveled alnico 3 magnets, while the neck pickup features larger diameter alnico 5 magnets. Both pickups are wound with 43‐gauge enamel wire, exactly as the originals were, ensuring authentic performance and tonal character.

These pickups showcase the rare collection of features found in the earliest 1950 Blackguard Tele® models, offering open, lively, full‐bodied tone with vintage warmth. Complete with shellac potting, cloth wire, fiber bobbins and all necessary installation hardware, they're ready to bring that classic Blackguard magic to your instrument.
