The Fender Custom Shop '68 Stratocaster Deluxe Closet Classic Maple captures the look, feel, and tone of a late‐'60s Strat with refined ageing and authentic detail. Its 2‐piece alder body is finished in lacquer with light checking, oxidised hardware, and subtle wear for the look of a well‐loved, carefully maintained instrument. The flat‐sawn maple neck features a '68–'69 "U" profile with a round‐lam maple fingerboard, 9.5" radius, 21 narrow tall frets, and bone nut.
Three hand‐wound '69 Underwound Stratocaster pickups deliver clear, dynamic tone with vintage‐style wiring and five‐way switching. Complete with vintage synchronized tremolo, Schaller "F" tuners, a three‐ply parchment pickguard, and a deluxe hardshell case, this Strat is built for both collectors and players seeking late‐'60s vibe.
