Grammy-winning country legend Chris Stapleton has partnered with Fender to create his signature take on the beloved '62 Princeton amplifier, bringing decades of studio expertise into a meticulously crafted 12-watt combo. This hand-wired amplifier captures the essence of the classic 6G2 circuit that made the original Princeton a studio favourite, enhanced with Stapleton's personally selected modifications and distinctive aesthetic choices.
The amplifier features premium components throughout, including Fender Vintage "Blue" tone capacitors, Schumacher™ transformers, and an upgraded Eminence® 12" Special Design "CS" speaker that perfectly complements the amp's organic character. The output tube-biased tremolo circuit provides the smooth, musical modulation that has become synonymous with classic American amplification, controlled via the included single-button footswitch.
Housed in an acoustically resonant solid pine cabinet, the amplifier showcases rough brown textured vinyl covering paired with wheat grille cloth and a substantial dark brown leather handle. The dark brown control panel features matching "radio" knobs, while the rear panel displays an engraved brass plate bearing Chris Stapleton's signature. The package includes both the tremolo footswitch and a retro-styled Filson™ Rugged Twill fabric cover, completing this exceptional tribute to vintage American tone.
