Built to Eddie Van Halen’s exacting specifications, the Wolfgang Special T.O.M stands as a purebred music–making machine that has been road–tested in arenas around the world. This high–performance instrument features a basswood body with an arched top, paired with a robust graphite–reinforced bolt–on quartersawn baked maple neck. The neck boasts a hand–rubbed satin urethane finish on the back and is carved and rolled to precise standards for optimal playability.

The 12"–16" compound radius baked maple fingerboard comes equipped with 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays, making it perfectly suited for energetic riffing and blazing leads. Truss rod adjustments are made simple with a spoke wheel conveniently positioned at the base of the neck, ensuring maintenance remains hassle–free.

Sound quality comes courtesy of flagship custom–designed EVH® Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking pickups mounted directly to the body, providing dynamic yet articulate voicing with endless sustain for powerful chords and melody lines. The reliable EVH compensated bridge and tailpiece with fine tuners keeps you solid and in the mix, while the volume knob features a treble bleed circuit with a 500K EVH Bourns® low friction pot for smooth swells. The tone control utilises a 250K Bourns high friction pot that prevents accidental tone shifting, giving you complete control over your sound.
