The EVH 5150III® Hypersonic™ 6L6 2x12 combo brings the legendary tone of Eddie Van Halen’s signature all-tube amplifier into a lighter, more versatile package through advanced digital modelling technology. Massive digital processing power faithfully recreates the EVH 5150III 6L6 tube combo, while a high-performance digital power amp achieves the headroom and dynamic range you’d expect from a real tube design. Paired with Celestion® speakers and plywood closed-back cabinetry, this amp produces EVH tone, volume and dynamics that are virtually indistinguishable from the all-tube original.

The 5150III Hypersonic combo weighs substantially less than its all-tube counterpart, making it ideal for gigging musicians who need professional tone without the heavy lifting. Enhanced features include concentric EQ controls for channels one and two, plus independent noise gate controls for each channel to refine your user experience. The updated footswitch now allows both reverb and effects loop selection for greater control during performance.

Additional features include a power selector offering full power and five attenuated settings, perfect for studio work or stage use at any volume. A balanced XLR line output with impulse response (IR) cabinet simulations provides direct recording capabilities, while the mute switch enables silent stage or recording applications. The EVH 5150III Hypersonic amps are available in black or ivory vinyl covering.
