The EVH® 5150® Iconic® Series brings Eddie Van Halen's legendary tube tone within reach of more guitarists than ever before. This 40-watt 1x12 combo evolves from the acclaimed EVH 5150III® amplifiers, offering that signature searing sound and growling gain that defined Eddie's groundbreaking career. Designed by renowned amp engineer James Brown, the amplifier is powered by two JJ 6L6 power tubes and voiced with two JJ ECC83S preamp tubes, providing serious firepower for modern guitarists.

The combo features two versatile channels, each with additional voicing options for maximum flexibility. The Green channel includes an overdrive button that takes you from pristine cleans to increased gain, while the Red channel's burn button adds fiery crunch perfect for blistering leads. Each channel has independent gain and volume controls for seamless level-matching when switching between clean and high gain sounds. The channel two noise gate ensures staccato riffing remains articulate and crisp, while the Boost control adds an extra 10dB of foot-switchable volume to cut through any mix.

Built with an MDF cabinet featuring special internal plywood baffling for tight bass response, the amp houses a custom-designed EVH 12″ Celestion® speaker voiced specifically for this preamp circuit. Additional features include shared EQ controls, global resonance and presence knobs, reverb, effects loop, dual parallel speaker outputs, and a ¼ power switch for bedroom-friendly practice. The speaker-emulated DI XLR output with power amp mute provides authentic all-tube EVH tone for direct recording or PA use, while the sophisticated styling features black textured vinyl, vintage-style chicken-head knobs, and distinctive EVH badging.
