The 20cm sphere features 10×10mm individual mirrors arranged across its surface, designed to scatter light in all directions when rotated beneath a spotlight. This compact size sits between entry–level decorative balls and larger stage installations, making it a practical choice for small–to–medium venue work.
Mirror balls rotate smoothly and catch light from any angle, requiring only a standard light source and motorised hanging mechanism. The 10×10mm mirror tiles are individually mounted, allowing light diffusion across the venue without requiring complex rigging. At 20cm diameter, the MB08 handles multiple spotlights without overheating, and its silver finish reflects both tungsten and LED sources effectively. Mounting brackets, safety wires, and clamps are available separately to secure the ball to stage trussing or venue infrastructure.
