EVE Audio SC3012 3-Way 12" Professional Studio Monitor Speakers (Pair)

The SC3012 stands as EVE Audio's flagship monitor, engineered specifically for the most demanding professional environments where precision and power cannot be compromised. Built for large recording studios, mastering facilities, film post-production houses and cinema applications, this three-way active monitor combines a sophisticated 12" SilverCone woofer capable of reaching down to 25 Hz (-3 dB), a newly developed 5" midrange driver with glass fibre layered Rohacel™ sandwich diaphragm, and the exclusive AMT RS6 tweeter that's 2.5 times larger than previous AMT units.

The tri-amped design features custom PWM amplifiers for each driver - 250W each for the tweeter and midrange, plus a bridged 800W module for the bass woofer, all protected by limiter detection circuits. This configuration achieves maximum output levels of 118 dB SPL at 1 metre whilst maintaining extraordinarily low harmonic distortion. The AMT RS6 tweeter crosses over at 1800 Hz, ensuring smooth directivity and precise coupling between mid and high frequencies, whilst the copper cap magnet system on both SilverCone drivers further reduces distortion.

Practical design considerations include the rotatable silver module housing the midrange and tweeter, allowing horizontal or vertical positioning to optimise sight lines and acoustic performance. For in-wall installations, acoustic filter modifications can be engaged via the "inwall" setting, and high-density foam is provided to close the rear-firing bass ports when required. The ultra-stiff front plate combines rigid plywood with special internal construction to eliminate unwanted resonances, whilst both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs provide connection flexibility for any professional setup.
