Evans GMAD Clear Bass Drum Head 20 Inch

Built for drummers who demand both power and precision, the Evans GMAD Clear Bass Drum Head combines the feel of a single ply with the durability needed for heavy hitting. This 20" drum head utilises a robust 12mil film construction, making it a tougher version of the popular 10mil EMAD design. The single ply configuration maintains that authentic drum feel while providing enhanced longevity for players who don’t hold back.

The standout feature is the Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping system, which puts complete sonic control in your hands. You can fine‐tune both attack and focus to match your playing style and musical requirements, making this head incredibly versatile across different genres and playing techniques. This adjustability means you get a solid, focused sound that can be tailored to your exact preferences.

Designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA, the GMAD Clear represents quality craftsmanship and reliable performance. The 12mil construction offers superior durability and versatility compared to thinner alternatives, making it an excellent choice for drummers who need a head that can withstand aggressive playing while maintaining consistent tone and response.
