ESP LTD SC-608B Baritone 8-String Stephen Carpenter Signature (Yellow)

Stephen Carpenter's signature sound has redefined the boundaries of alternative metal, and his LTD SC-608 Baritone brings that distinctive low-end power directly to your hands. This striking 8-string baritone guitar showcases a vibrant Yellow finish that pays homage to Carpenter's beloved ESP Custom Shop instrument "Chiquita." Built for extreme low-end range with a 27" scale length, the SC-608 typically employs F#-B-E-A-D-G-B-E tuning, making it the perfect tool for heavy, extended-range compositions that demand serious sonic depth.

The guitar's construction centres around a neck-thru-body design that combines a mahogany body with a three-piece maple neck featuring a comfortable Thin U contour. The Macassar ebony fingerboard hosts 24 extra-jumbo frets across a 400mm radius, providing smooth access for both crushing rhythm work and intricate lead passages. Premium hardware includes LTD locking tuners for rock-solid stability and a Hipshot hardtail bridge with string-thru-body design that maximises sustain and resonance.

At the heart of the SC-608's versatile voice lies a set of Fishman Fluence SRC Signature 3-Voice pickups, controlled via a 5-way switch and push-pull volume control that unlocks an impressive range of tonal possibilities. This signature model arrives complete with an ESP hardshell form fit case, ensuring your investment stays protected whether you're heading to the studio or taking the stage.
