This newly–updated EC–1000 offers a luxurious, upscale look with its quilted maple top, See Thru Black Cherry finish, and special aesthetic touches like multi–ply body and headstock binding, with sleek black hardware complementing the overall design. You also get set–thru construction at 24.75” scale with a smooth heel joint, pairing a mahogany body and three–piece mahogany neck.

This EC–1000 also offers the modern amenities for today’s music performance styles, including a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, LTD locking tuners, a Macassar ebony fingerboard with ESP flag inlays, and 24 extra–jumbo stainless steel frets. Its sound is powered by a set of direct–mount Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups (ceramic in the bridge and alnico in the neck), with push/pull control to select voicings and black nickel covers to match this guitar’s outstanding aesthetics.

Each pickup offers two voices. With the ceramic bridge pickup, Voice 1 is the ultimate high–output ceramic humbucker bridge pickup tone… crisp, searing crunch, tight bass with no mud, and a growl. Voice 2 delivers modern passive attack performance that has superbly organic distortion characteristics with outstanding dynamics and response. The alnico neck pickup’s Voice 1 is Fishman’s modern active high–output tone, offering the ideal active alnico sound: full, round, and boosted, but with unprecedented articulation and dynamics. Voice 2 gives you the crisp, clean and fluid neck humbucker tone you’ve always wanted.
