Born from ESP's legendary 1987 catalogue, the LTD M-1 Custom '87 captures the raw essence of the guitars that put the Japanese manufacturer on the global map during the mid-'80s. This faithful recreation of the original ESP M-1 model showcases the neck-thru body construction that made these instruments famous amongst players worldwide, providing lightning-fast access to the upper register.
The guitar's alder body pairs with a three-piece extra thin U-shaped maple neck, engineered specifically for speed and fluid playability. At the heart of its sonic capabilities lies a single Seymour Duncan Distortion TB-6 pickup, complete with push-pull coil splitting functionality for tonal versatility.
Additional features include a Floyd Rose 1000 bridge system without recess routing and an EMG PA-2 boost switch for those moments when you need extra power on tap. The M-1 Custom '87 is available in three striking finishes: Black, Dark Metallic Blue, and Candy Apple Red.
