The front panel’s coloured LEDs clearly display your current configuration, whilst the pioneered ESI auto detection technology handles the switching seamlessly.

Built for professional environments, this fully class compliant device works straight out of the box on Windows 7 through 11 and macOS systems without additional drivers. The integrated USB 3.0 hub turns your M8U eX into a central connection point for software dongles, USB keyboards, and other studio gear. When you need even more ports, simply connect multiple units to the same computer.

Beyond computer connectivity, the M8U eX functions as a standalone MIDI solution with various merge and thru configurations selectable via the front panel button. It can be bus powered or run from the included 5V DC supply when supporting other USB devices. For smaller setups, the 8-port M4U eX offers the same advanced technology in a more compact format.
