Ernie Ball Music Man John Petrucci Majesty 7-String (Smoked Pearl)

John Petrucci’s signature 7-string masterpiece represents the pinnacle of modern guitar engineering, combining Dream Theater’s progressive demands with Music Man’s legendary craftsmanship. The Majesty 7 showcases neck-through construction that pairs Honduran mahogany with an okoume body and maple top, creating a tonal foundation that balances warmth and articulation. This premium wood combination supports the fast-playing ebony fretboard, which features distinctive Atlante Majesty inlays and a comfortable 17-inch radius across 24 medium jumbo stainless steel frets.

Custom DiMarzio Rainmaker and Dreamcatcher humbuckers provide the sonic versatility this instrument demands, spanning crystalline clean tones through to crushing high-gain sounds. The integrated piezo system adds authentic acoustic textures, while the onboard Music Man active preamp includes push-push 20dB gain boost and coil-split functions for expanded tonal options. A custom floating tremolo equipped with Fishman Powerbridge piezo saddles maintains exceptional tuning stability during the most demanding performances, making this 7-string a complete solution for the modern guitarist.
