Ernie Ball Fretwrap by Gruv Gear (Large)

Professional musicians know that unwanted string noise can ruin the perfect take, which is why the Ernie Ball FretWrap by Gruv Gear has become an essential tool in studios and live venues across Australia. This clever string dampener slides onto your guitar or bass to eliminate overtones and sympathetic resonance that plague recording sessions and performances.

The FretWrap excels during two-hand tapping techniques and creative playing styles where you need both hands on the fretboard. Its adjustable strap allows precise control over string dampening pressure, giving you cleaner takes without compromising your playing technique. When you don’t need it, simply slide the dampener over the headstock – no tools or modifications required.

This Large size fits 6-string basses, 7-string electric guitars, and 8-string electric guitars perfectly. Session players and tapping specialists rely on the FretWrap because it provides that extra muting control exactly when you need it most, making it an indispensable addition to any serious musician’s toolkit.
