The Pikocore XL is a powerful lo‐fi music mangler built on the Raspberry Pi Pico, developed through a collaboration between Zack Scholl (Infinite Digits) and Erica Synths. Originally released as a pocket‐sized DIY device, it has now evolved into a performance-ready instrument with Erica Synths' hands-on interface and sleek aluminium enclosure, providing enhanced playability and creative control while retaining its wild, experimental sound engine.

Supplied as a complete DIY kit, Pikocore XL includes all required components and a pre‐flashed RP Pico board, eliminating the need for part sourcing or firmware setup. Once assembled, it offers deep creative potential with effects and sampling designed for unconventional sound design and live performance.
