The Prophecy series represents Epiphone's full ground-up redesign for players demanding speed, precision, and high-gain authority without compromise. This electric guitar combines the classic SG body shape with modern appointments that meaningfully shift the performance ceiling: a satin-finished mahogany body with maple cap and flamed maple veneer, thermally aged one-piece maple neck reinforced with graphite rods, and a bound ebony fretboard with 24 stainless steel frets on a 10–14" compound radius. The Obsidian Storm Satin finish and black mother-of-pearl block inlays reflect the series' contemporary aesthetic, while the multi-ply bound headstock adds a premium touch. A soft case is included for transport and storage.

Custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups – designed specifically for this series – provide three selectable voices via push/pull master volume and tone controls, delivering tight low-end control, focused midrange, and exceptional note definition across high-gain modern styles and studio applications. The 647.7 mm scale length and HyperGlide neck profile support fast playing, while the GraphTech nut and Grover Rotomatic locking tuners maintain tuning stability. Hardware includes a LockTone Modern bridge with string-through tailpiece, all finished in black plating. The three-way toggle switch and single volume/tone layout keep switching straightforward during performance.
