Extended to a 27-inch scale length and strung with .012–.060 gauge strings, this Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul Baritone sits in the tonal zone between standard guitar and bass. The baritone configuration supports B to B tuning while maintaining familiar chord voicings with improved string tension, clarity, and low-end definition. Its weight-relieved mahogany body features a maple top with flamed maple veneer, finished in Obsidian Storm Satin, while a modern contoured heel and rear belly carve enhance upper-fret access and playing comfort without abandoning the classic Les Paul silhouette.
The thermally aged one-piece maple neck is reinforced with graphite rods for long-term stability and shaped to a fast Hyperglide B profile on an ebony fingerboard with block inlays. Custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups, developed exclusively for the Prophecy series, deliver three selectable tonal voices via push/pull volume and tone controls. Hardware includes a Floyd Rose 1000 bridge, Grover Rotomatic locking tuners with black plating, and a Graph Tech nut. A Protector Ultralite soft shell case is included for transport and storage.
