Epiphone has redesigned the Prophecy series from the ground up, and this Flying V™ electric guitar shows exactly what that means. The mahogany body is topped with flamed maple veneer and finished in Obsidian Storm Satin, while the thermally aged one-piece maple neck features graphite rod reinforcement for improved stability. The extended 25.5″ scale length increases string tension and clarity, making it particularly effective for modern tunings and drop-tuned playing. The HyperGlide neck profile delivers fast, fluid movement across the fretboard, and the included Ultralite soft case provides transport protection.
The bound ebony fretboard features a 10″–14″ compound radius across 24 stainless steel frets, with black mother-of-pearl block inlays. Fishman Fluence pickups in both neck and bridge positions are controlled by single volume and tone knobs plus a three-way toggle. Black nickel hardware includes locking Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, a Graph Tech® nut, and a LockTone® Modern bridge. The through-body tailpiece design optimises string tension balance for tight low end, focused midrange, and strong sustain. Multi-ply binding on the body and headstock reinforces the premium aesthetic.
