The Epiphone Les Paul Custom is a solid–body electric guitar built around a mahogany body with maple top, designed to capture the refinement of Gibson's 1954 original. Les Paul himself requested a more sophisticated take on his signature model, one that looked like a tuxedo. This Sedona Burst finish version pairs that classic aesthetic with hand-wired Gibson USA 490R and 498T humbuckers, delivering the warm mids and articulate highs that make the Custom a studio and stage workhorse across genres.
The neck is one–piece mahogany with a Modern Medium C profile, joined to the body via a long tenon for stability and sustain. The bound ebony fretboard carries 22 medium jumbo frets with mother–of–pearl block inlays, a Custom signature since day one. Hardware includes Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, a Graph Tech® nut, LockTone™ Tune–O–Matic™ bridge, and LockTone Stop Bar for rock–solid intonation. Electronics run through CTS® controls, Mallory™ capacitors, and Switchcraft® components. Scale length is 628.65 mm with a standard 3–way toggle for neck, both, and bridge pickup selection. The guitar ships in a padded hardshell case.
