The Futura Les Paul Custom represents Epiphone's modern interpretation of Gibson's most enduring design. Built on a mahogany body with weight-relief chambering and topped with maple, it maintains the classic Les Paul's tonal balance–warm mids grounded by solid sustain. The Firestorm Shift finish employs a colour-shifting chromashift treatment, catching light differently across stage and screen. This isn't heritage gear; it's built for players who need studio clarity, live punch, and on-camera presence.

Construction prioritises playability and tonal control. The mahogany neck uses a fast-playing Modern C profile with a bound ebony fingerboard, 22 stainless steel medium jumbo frets, and a 10°–14° compound radius that accommodates both chords and bends without compromise. A long tenon neck joint anchors everything; the headstock locks down via Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with a Graph Tech® nut. Electronics centre on Epiphone's ProBucker® Ignite humbuckers–high-output units voiced for clarity. Push/pull controls unlock coil-splitting and phase options, expanding tonal range from thick rhythms to articulate leads. LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece ensure rock-solid intonation at scale length 628.65 mm across 22 frets.

The Firestorm Shift finish and control flexibility make this guitar equally suited to recording, live performance, and content creation. Recording engineers benefit from the pickups' clarity and the coil-split option for thinning mud in dense mixes.
