The Futura ES-355 represents Epiphone's contemporary take on the semi-hollow archetype that's defined electric guitar tone since 1958. Built on a solid maple centreblock with weight-relief routing, the design balances sustain and feedback control whilst maintaining comfort during extended sessions. The 628.65 mm scale length and Modern C mahogany neck profile accommodate both fingerstyle nuance and aggressive lead work, whilst the 10–14° compound-radius ebony fingerboard with 22 stainless steel medium jumbo frets supports smooth chording and effortless bends across the full range.

Electronics centre on a pair of Epiphone ProBucker® Ignite humbuckers® delivering articulate, dynamic response with genuine clarity across the frequency spectrum. The push/pull volume and tone controls unlock coil-splitting and phase-switching options, dramatically expanding tonal palette without circuit complexity. Construction details include a bound Kalamazoo headstock fitted with locking Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, a Graph Tech® nut, and the LockTone® Tune-O-Matic® bridge paired with a LockTone Stop Bar tailpiece–hardware engineered for rock-solid intonation and sustain. Posi-Lok® strap buttons eliminate ancillary hardware, keeping the platform clean and stable during performance.

The Dragonfly Shift finish exemplifies the Futura series' visual approach: colour-shifting pearl that responds dynamically to stage and studio lighting. This is practical gear for touring musicians, session players, and content creators who need an instrument capable of handling professional recording, live performance, and camera work without compromise. The included gig bag provides sufficient protection for regular transport without bulk or weight penalty.
