Epiphone Fatoumata Diawara SG Electric Guitar (Red) inc Hard Case

The Epiphone Fatoumata Diawara SG is a signature model honouring a GRAMMY®–nominated guitarist and singer–songwriter who blends traditional Wassoulou music with contemporary global styles. Diawara is the first woman of colour to receive an Epiphone signature model, marking a significant milestone in the brand's history. The guitar builds on the Epiphone Muse SG platform with custom modifications reflecting her preferences, delivered in a hardshell case.

Construction centres on a mahogany body with signature graphic top, paired with a glued–in mahogany neck wearing a Custom C profile and bound rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. Alnico Classic PRO humbucking pickups drive dual volume controls with push/pull coil split switches, two tone controls (one standard, one with push/pull phase switch), and LockTone® Tune–O–Matic® bridge hardware. Gold Epiphone locking tuners and Graph Tech® nut ensure tuning stability. Scale length is 628.65mm with pearloid trapezoid inlays throughout.

Colour coordination extends across pickup mounting rings, neck tenon cover, Speed knobs, rear control covers, and the toggle switch tip–all matched to the red finish. The headstock features the Epiphone logo and Gibson Crown inlaid in mother–of–pearl, with Diawara's 'Fatou' signature reproduced in gold on the two–ply truss rod cover. This approach delivers both aesthetic character and practical control over tone shaping.
