Epiphone's ES-339 is a semi-hollow electric guitar built smaller and lighter than the ES-335, without sacrificing the tone that's defined Gibson semi-hollows for six decades. The hand-rolled mahogany neck uses a rounded C profile, and a pair of Alnico Classic PRO™ humbuckers deliver the warm, articulate voice players expect from this body style. A Vintage Sunburst finish with cream binding completes the aesthetic, and the gig bag is included.
Construction centres on a layered maple body with single-ply cream top and back binding. The 628 mm scale length sits on a rosewood fingerboard with 43 mm nut width. Hardware includes nickel Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, Graph Tech® NuBone® nut for stable tuning, and Epiphone's LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic™ bridge paired with a LockTone™ Stop Bar tailpiece—both adding sustain and intonation precision. Controls consist of two volume, two tone CTS® potentiometers and a three-way toggle.
