Elixir 14207 Electric Bass Nickel Plated Steel w/ Nanoweb Coating - 5S LT Med (45-135)

Premium electric bass strings that keep their incredible tone longer than any other string available - that's what thousands of bass players worldwide have come to trust from Elixir. These strings have been specially developed using extensive feedback from over a thousand bass players, resulting in a tailor-made selection that includes nickel plated and stainless steel construction options across four-, five- and six-string sets with long and extra-long scales in virtually every gauge range you could need.

What sets Elixir apart is their innovative coating technology that covers the entire string, not just the surface. This comprehensive protection extends to the gaps between windings where tone-deadening gunk typically accumulates in other brands' coated and uncoated strings. The result is significantly more quality playing time between the hassle and cost of string changes.

These electric bass round wound strings feature nickel plated steel wrap wire construction, producing a rich, rounded tone with incredible clarity and heavy mid-range presence. The NANOWEB Coating has been redesigned specifically for bass guitars, providing a smooth, natural feel that enhances grip whilst reducing finger squeak. Simply put: great tone, long life.
