Elixir 16002 Acoustic Phosphor Bronze w/ Nanoweb Coating - Extra Light (10-47)

Professional musicians around the globe rely on Elixir Strings to maintain exceptional tone far longer than conventional acoustic guitar strings. These premium strings feature a unique full-string coating technology that protects both the outer surface and the critical gaps between windings, where tone-killing debris typically accumulates in other brands’ coated and uncoated strings.

The innovative coating process sets Elixir apart from competitors who only treat the string surface. Anti-Rust Plating on the plain steel strings further extends tone life across the entire set, ensuring consistent performance. This comprehensive protection means fewer string changes and more time playing your instrument.

Constructed with phosphor bronze wrap wire, these strings offer a dynamic balance between rich, full-bodied tone and brilliant high-end clarity. The NANOWEB® Coating provides a more traditional feel compared to Elixir’s POLYWEB® option, giving players the smooth, familiar texture they prefer whilst maintaining the extended lifespan that makes Elixir the choice for serious guitarists seeking great tone and remarkable longevity.
