Send yourself to another sampling dimension. With Digitakt II, you can weave splinters of sound in stereo, ripped from the moment and brought to your fingertips for marvelous audio manipulation and beat arraying. Preserve or distort reality as you so desire with 16 tracks ready for stereo or mono samples, or MIDI. Choose from several swappable filters for each track and utilize a wide assortment of effects and modulation, pull on enhanced processing power, and enough memory for a lifetime of samples. Further tasty features like a Euclidean sequence generator, an extended 128 step sequencer, kits, trig modes, an extensive sample library, and a modular workflow to play with ensure your sonic-montage sculpting potential will know no beat-making bounds. Digitakt II OS 1.10 adds Digitone II's Comb+ filter and reintroduces mono sampling alongside stereo. Track Swap and Live Record Overdub also arrive for easier track organisation.
Digitakt II gets a tasty upgrade with OS 1.15, serving up the long-awaited Slice machine for next-level sample manipulation. Create up to 64 slices per sample using equal divisions or transient detection, then edit start, end, and loop points with precision. Use Slice Trig Mode to trigger slices directly, and assign them to sequencer trigs for glitchy randomness or linear playback. Whether you're deconstructing loops or exploring new melodies, this update opens fresh creative ground. To use with Overbridge, update to version 2.21 released alongside the OS.
