The Analog Rytm MKII delivers the perfect marriage of classic analog percussion and modern digital sampling in one powerhouse beat machine. Built around eight distinctive drum voices, each track combines a selectable analog percussion sound generator with a digital sample playback engine, giving you unprecedented sonic flexibility. The analog synthesis models provide everything from booming kicks and snarling snares to shimmering hi-hats, while the dual VCO synth engine adds rich bass tones to round out your compositions.
Sampling couldn't be more straightforward - record from the inputs, internal tracks, or main outputs, then quickly adjust pitch, direction, looping behaviour, and bitrate to suit your needs. Once you've captured your sounds, the analog filtering and overdrive circuits on each track work alongside the master analog distortion and compressor, plus digital reverb and delay effects, to shape your beats exactly how you want them. The multi-waveform LFO adds movement and modulation possibilities across numerous destinations.
Performance features shine through the velocity and pressure-sensitive pads, which handle everything from beat triggering to chromatic playing and up to 12 performance macros for complex parameter changes. The quick performance knob provides instant macro access, while scene change modes allow dramatic on-the-fly transitions. Individual audio outputs for each voice ensure seamless integration into any studio setup, and the crisp OLED display makes dark-stage performances effortless.
The recent OS 1.70 update significantly expands the machine's capabilities with Euclidean sequencer mode, five new synthesis machines including HH LAB and SY CHIP models, plus additional parameters and scales that push the Rytm's melodic potential well beyond traditional drum machine territory. With 1GB internal sample storage, class-compliant USB connectivity, and full compatibility with original Analog Rytm projects, the MKII stands ready for both studio production and live performance demands.
