The EVOLVE 50 Portable Column System combines professional–grade audio engineering with remarkable portability, featuring a powerful 1000W Class–D amplifier and Electro–Voice’s advanced QuickSmartDSP processing. This three–component loudspeaker system centres around a robust 15mm wooden subwoofer enclosure housing a 12” driver that reaches down to 37Hz, while eight 3.5” neodymium drivers in the column array work together to produce up to 127dB SPL. The innovative design uses a bi–directional aluminium pole with magnetic connection to the subwoofer, while the column array sits securely via gravity–hold mechanism.

Smart acoustic design ensures optimal coverage through eight composite waveguides that control high frequencies across 120° horizontal and 40° asymmetrical vertical dispersion patterns. This down–facing vertical coverage specifically addresses both seated and standing audience positions, making the system versatile for various venue configurations. The complete system arrives conveniently packaged in a purpose–built carrying bag for easy transport and setup.

The QuickSmartDSP processing engine simplifies operation with four factory presets including Music, Live, Speech, and Club modes, plus three–band EQ and five user–programmable preset slots with store and recall functionality. Additional professional features include output delay, +15V phantom power, visual limiter monitoring, comprehensive input level controls with metering, and master volume control for precise gain structure management.

Modern connectivity comes via the new Electro–Voice QuickSmart Mobile application, which uses Bluetooth® Low Energy technology for wireless configuration and monitoring of up to six EVOLVE 50 systems simultaneously. High–resolution Bluetooth® audio streaming capability adds practical convenience for wireless music playback during breaks, intermissions, and musical accompaniment applications.
