Electro-Voice ZLX G2 8 Inch Powered Portable Loudspeaker

The ZLX G2 series represents the evolution of over one million units sold worldwide, delivering professional-grade audio performance that has redefined what's possible at an accessible price point. Building upon the legendary success of the original ZLX lineup that became the industry benchmark since 2013, this second-generation series introduces 8", 12" and 15" two-way models available in both powered and passive configurations. The enhanced design delivers increased maximum SPL up to 129 dB, extended frequency response, and improved durability whilst maintaining the lightweight construction that made its predecessor so popular amongst audio professionals.

At the heart of each ZLX G2 model lies the patented SST (Signal Synchronised Transducers) ported waveguide technology, which enhances low-frequency extension and provides consistent vertical and horizontal coverage across all frequencies in a compact form factor. The powered versions feature "Powered by Dynacord" electronics with ultra-efficient 1000W Class-D amplification and an integrated four-channel, three-input digital mixer complete with high-quality effects, phantom power, and Hi-Z compatibility.

The ZLX G2 series offers five distinct system modes including Music, Live, Speech, Club, and the new FRFR (full range, flat response) setting - a unique feature in this product class that provides neutral frequency response for modelling processors and guitar cab simulators. Advanced connectivity options include Bluetooth wireless stereo streaming, the ability to pair up to six compatible Electro-Voice speakers via the QuickSmart Mobile app, and local configuration through a single-knob encoder with a new full-colour LCD display that's larger and higher resolution than previous models.
