Electro-Voice EVOLVE 90 Portable Powered Column System w/ Sub (Black)

The EVOLVE 90 Column Loudspeaker System redefines what’s possible when professional-grade power meets exceptional portability. This latest addition to the acclaimed EVOLVE family has been engineered specifically for professionals who need to cover larger gigs without compromising on audio quality or ease of transport. Despite featuring a class-leading 45.72 cm (18") subwoofer, the EVOLVE 90 remains lighter than many competing 38.1 cm (15") models, thanks to advanced materials and ergonomic design principles that prioritise both performance and practicality.

At the heart of the system lies impressive acoustic engineering, with eight 11.94 cm (4.7") neodymium drivers providing clear, powerful sound across a consistent 120° horizontal coverage pattern through proprietary waveguides. The array-formed asymmetrical 25° vertical coverage ensures optimal sound distribution, while advanced FIR processing maintains linear frequency response and phase alignment. The substantial 45.72 cm (18") subwoofer extends low frequency response down to 28 Hz, supported by highly efficient laminar-flow vent design and robust 10.16 cm (4") voice coils that sustain high output levels perfect for bass-heavy dance music, reaching a maximum SPL of 134 dB.

Professional connectivity options abound, with XLR/TRS combo Mic-Line inputs, XLR and RCA line level inputs, plus digital AES/EBU connections accommodating virtually any professional scenario. The system integrates seamlessly with the updated QuickSmart Mobile App ecosystem, allowing users to control it alongside other Bluetooth-enabled EV portable speakers. The renowned EVOLVE 3-2-1 assembly approach ensures rapid deployment – three pieces connecting with just two clicks to form one complete system, maintaining the industry standard for fast setup and teardown that professionals have come to rely upon.
