Electro-Voice has redefined portable professional audio with the launch of the EVOLVE 50M column loudspeaker system, featuring groundbreaking QuickSmart Link technology and an integrated eight-channel digital mixer. This latest addition to the industry-leading EVOLVE series combines the sleek, compact format of the EVOLVE 50 with comprehensive mixing capabilities, making it ideal for bands, musicians, AV rental companies, DJs and any application demanding true professional audio performance in a super-portable package.

The EVOLVE 50M showcases superior engineering with eight lightweight 3.5" neodymium drivers providing ultra-wide 120° coverage through proprietary waveguides, while the array-formed 40° asymmetrical vertical coverage ensures optimal sound distribution for both seated and standing audiences. The system includes a 12" subwoofer housed in a robust 15mm wood enclosure with high-efficiency laminar-flow vent design, connected via a symmetrical aluminium pole with internal wiring and magnetically assisted latching. An advanced Class-D amplifier provides up to 1000W of power, all protected by an 18-gauge steel grille and including a carry case.

The integrated eight-channel digital mixer, developed in collaboration with Dynacord’s engineering team, features multiple professional-grade inputs including 4x XLR/TRS combo mic/line inputs, stereo line input, RCA, 3.5mm stereo, and Hi-Z instrument input. High-resolution, low-latency Bluetooth® streaming, independent channel aux sends, foot switch input, and 30 effects presets including chorus, delay, flange and reverb significantly reduce setup time and on-stage clutter by minimising external equipment requirements.

QuickSmart Link technology allows seamless connection of two EVOLVE 50M systems via Ethernet cable, creating an uncompressed digital audio/control connection manageable through the QuickSmart Mobile app on both Apple and Android devices. The control panel features powerful QuickSmart DSP with LCD display and single-knob control, offering four presets (Music, Live, Speech, Club), three-band system EQ, seven-band graphic EQ in Mixer mode, five user-programmable presets, phantom power, and comprehensive monitoring capabilities for optimal gain structure management.
