The EKX-15SP subwoofer combines cutting-edge QuickSmartDSP processing with EV’s renowned single-knob interface and clear LCD menu navigation. This powerful unit features a high-efficiency 1300 W Class D amplifier that produces up to 133 dB peak SPL through specially designed high-sensitivity transducers engineered by EV.
Cardioid Control Technology stands out as a key feature, allowing you to direct output towards your audience while achieving up to 35 dB reduction on stage when using multiple subwoofers. The intelligent thermal management system uses a variable-speed fan controlled by multiple onboard sensors, maintaining superior performance and reliability even in challenging environmental conditions.
Practical connectivity comes via two XLR outputs for straightforward system expansion to additional loudspeakers or subwoofers. The design includes large slot ports for minimal distortion and excellent bass extension, plus metal grille reinforcement bars and an M20 threaded pole mount plate for secure installation options.
