The Nano Pulsar redefines what tremolo can be, pushing far beyond conventional boundaries with its arsenal of modulating waveforms and dual Triangle/Square Wave modes. This compact powerhouse functions as both a tremolo and panner, creating everything from subtle rhythmic pulses to dramatic stereo soundscapes that fill your entire sonic space with weaving, pulsating energy.
Despite its extensive capabilities, the Nano Pulsar maintains an intuitive layout that’s straightforward to operate. The included Volume control addresses the common issue of perceived level drop when tremolo effects are engaged, allowing precise output adjustment when the effect is active. The Depth knob controls the intensity of tremolo applied to your signal, but push it past maximum (around 1 o’clock) and the modulation becomes asymmetric, warping your audio between positive and negative phase for a distinctive tremolo character.
The Rate control offers comprehensive speed adjustment for both tremolo and panning effects, and when you push both Rate and Depth to their limits, you’ll find yourself in ring modulation territory for truly surreal sonic adventures. This versatile pedal excels whether used solo for stunning tremolo effects or combined with other pedals like reverb’s shimmer settings to generate compelling synth-like textures and sounds.
