ElectroHarmonix 690/SOULFOOD Soul Food Drive Pedal

When the legendary KLON CENTAUR became an unattainable holy grail for guitarists due to its astronomical price tag, EHX's Mike Matthews knew something had to be done. Tone enthusiasts had been raving about this coveted pedal to Matthews, but its exorbitant cost put it well beyond the reach of most musicians.

True to his philosophy of making exceptional gear accessible to working musos, Matthews set his experienced team the challenge of creating an affordable alternative. The result of their efforts became the SOUL FOOD – a pedal that captures the essence of what made the original so special.

This compact overdrive pedal offers transparent saturation with excellent touch sensitivity and dynamic response. The clever circuitry incorporates boosted power rails, providing ample headroom and enhanced definition that keeps your tone crisp even when pushed hard. Most importantly, you won't need rock star finances to add this gem to your pedalboard.
