The legendary 1970s phase shifter sound lives on in the Electro Harmonix Bad Stone, now reimagined in a compact format with enhanced functionality. This reinvented pedal maintains the straightforward three-knob control layout that made the original so beloved, ensuring musicians can dial in their desired sound with ease. The toggle switch allows you to choose between Auto and Manual modes, whilst the Rate knob controls the speed of the phase shifting effect.
Six phase shifting stages provide exceptional versatility for creating rich, swirling tones that cut through any mix. The Manual Switch knob works alongside a dedicated Feedback control, which determines how deep the phase effect penetrates your signal. These controls give you precise command over the character and intensity of your sound.
Built to withstand the rigours of touring, the Bad Stone features a robust die-cast housing designed for demanding road conditions. True bypass switching preserves your signal path integrity when the effect is disengaged, whilst the status LED keeps you informed of the pedal’s operation. An integrated AC jack accommodates the optional EHX9.6DC power supply for reliable performance night after night.
