Electro Harmonix 15 Watt Howitzer Guitar Amplifier / Preamplifier Pedal

The compact 15Watt Howitzer guitar amp proves that big tone doesn't require big size, offering guitarists a sandwich-sized powerhouse that punches well above its weight. This ultra-compact workhorse serves brilliantly as part of a portable guitar rig or as that crucial emergency backup when your main amp decides to call it quits mid-gig.

Built like a musical chameleon, the 15Watt Howitzer adapts to the broadest range of genres depending on your gear and playing style. The Volume and Gain controls allow you to dial in everything from pristine clean tones to satisfying crunch, while the comprehensive Bass, Mid and Treble EQ section provides extensive tone shaping capabilities.

The amp's FX Loop opens up creative possibilities by letting you place effects like reverb and delay after the preamp stage, though you can equally run your guitar through pedals before hitting the input jack. As EHX Founder Mike Matthews puts it: “The sandwich-sized 15Watt Howitzer is perfect as part of a compact guitar rig or backup. But the thing I dig the most, is the tone that emanates from the Howitzer. It's super versatile and—depending on what kind of setup you're running—fits into any style that's your bag!”
