This all-discrete analog distortion enhancement device adds grit and boost while preserving the nuances that make your tone unique. Single notes bloom with rich harmonics and singing sustain, complete with responsive tube-like sag, whilst power chords gain thickness and crunch with beautifully ragged edges.

Building upon the foundation of the beloved Speaker Cranker, this enhanced version maintains the same spongy, dynamic, and touch-sensitive qualities whilst offering significant upgrades. You’ll find more gain on tap, double the output volume with a user-friendly Level control, an added Tone control for signal shaping, and a diode selector switch featuring both the original asymmetrical Silicon diodes and a hot new Germanium option.

The More control spans from nearly clean tones to medium gain overdrive at maximum, adjusting the transistor bias – don’t worry about any noise during adjustment, it’s perfectly normal. Germanium diodes provide a softer, more rounded response with tamed highs and lower output, while Silicon diodes add brighter, more modern edge with higher output. The Tone control offers full command over treble frequencies, cutting highs when turned counterclockwise and adding slight high frequency boost when turned clockwise.
