The DW MCD Machined Chain Drive Single Bass Drum Pedal represents a refined alternative to direct–drive design, built on the same industrial engineering principles as DW's flagship models. The standout feature is an adjustable, sprocket–less cam with a gear shift–style lever, enabling drummers to move between Accelerator and Turbo cam geometries without tools. Machined from polished anodised aluminium, this pedal delivers the playability and responsiveness gigging and studio drummers demand.

The footboard is racing–style perforated aluminium with a matching contoured heel plate. V.E.R.T. Vertical Spring Adjustment allows single–Allen screw tension tweaking. The Tri–Pivot Swivel Toe Clamp (U.S. Patent No. 9240169) and Interlocking Delta Hinge (U.S. Patent No. 9472174) provide stability and precision. Control Weight/Impact Adjustable Beater tuning lets players shape attack and feel. A DW MFG carrying case is included.
