DW InnerLock Cable System for 9000X Series Stands

DW's InnerLock Cable System upgrades 9000X Series hardware with a threaded cable management solution that routes cables internally through the stand's tubing. The system replaces external cable clips and eliminates loose wires around the kit, running signal cables directly through the stand's hollow centre column. Designed for electronic drum triggers, hybrid setups, and multi-pad configurations, the InnerLock threads into pre-drilled ports on compatible 9000X boom and straight cymbal stands, keeping cable runs tight and protected from stage traffic.

Each InnerLock assembly includes a brass-threaded insert that anchors into the stand's lower tube section and a matching cable grommet at the upper exit point. The internal diameter accommodates standard 6.35mm jack cables and smaller trigger leads, with enough clearance for two to three cables depending on plug housing size. Installation requires no tools beyond hand-tightening the threaded collar, and the system maintains full height adjustment and boom positioning across the 9000X range. Cable length calculations need to account for the internal routing path, typically adding 300–450mm to external runs depending on stand height and boom extension.
