HVLT shell technology alternates horizontal and vertical grain orientation across eight plies to control overtones and maximise low-end response. Chrome hardware includes low-mass mini-turret lugs that reduce shell contact, graduated triple-flange hoops in chrome steel, and STM (Suspension Tom Mounts) that isolate mounted toms from the bass drum for improved sustain. True-Pitch® Tuning adds extra tension-rod threads to expand tuning range and prevent slip during performance.
