The XF designation signals a two-leg configuration that reduces stage footprint while maintaining the same low-mass drive system and Delta ball-bearing hinge found across the entire 9000 series range.

Construction centres on dual-leg aluminium tubing with a chrome finish and a non-slip rubber base. The Delta ball-bearing hinge assembly eliminates lateral play and delivers direct pedal response without slop. Height adjustment spans 660mm to 990mm via a memory lock that holds settings across teardown and setup. Spring tension adjusts with a single large dial positioned at the base, and the nylon bushing system at the footboard pivot reduces metal-on-metal contact noise. Cymbal seat accepts standard 6mm pull rods and tilter mechanisms.
